The Windsor Workshop guarantees, to the original purchaser, that the product purchased is free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years. This applies under conditions of normal household use and does not apply to defects arising from negligence, misuse, accident, commercial usage, or from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and extremes of temperature and/or humidity.
The lacquered finish is guaranteed for five (5) years. Again, this applies under conditions of normal household use and not to defects arising from negligence, misuse, accident, commercial use, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extremes of temperature and/or humidity or use of silicone based cleaning products, such as Pledge.
This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
The Windsor Workshop will be responsible for determining whether a warranty claim is a result of a defect in materials or workmanship. In the event that the claim is not the result of a defect in materials or workmanship, the owner shall be responsible for the cost of repairing the item.
In the event of a warranty repair, the purchaser shall be responsible, physically and/or financially, for packing and shipping the item to and from the Windsor Workshop located in Concord, Ontario, Canada.
This warranty is limited to only repairing or replacing the parts of the product that the Windsor Workshop deems to be defective in material or craftsmanship.
All of our handcrafted Windsor chairs come with a lifetime warranty against structural damage.
